La guerre a commencé

(translation below)

The war has begun

It is a war that is declared today. It is not visible. There are no bloodied soldiers or victims  (though). It is global and worldly spread. No one is immune because it affects our daily lives. His logic will go through its system and those who think they will be spared will not.

The enemy is everywhere and is called the neoliberal oligarchy (NLO). Once it has been identified, we have to try to find out which forms it takes because it advance with a mask. It does not correspond to the usual reading grid of the society and it is sometimes difficult to unmasked.

Is the neoliberal oligarchy from left or right? The answer is that it is neither left nor right. The traditional political divisions no longer apply. Thus Sarkozy may declare that it must end the program of the National Council of the Resistance and this is Holland, which sets up this policy by "reforming" family allowances. I admit that on this point I had fallen into the trap by applauding this measure of "social justice" before reading an editorial by Eric Conan in Marianne. I think that in France the position of the majority of politicians comes less conviction than opportunism and place to take. Valls joined the PS because there was no room at the left side of politics. A recent poll in England on a "benefit program" was voted by Labour with the exception of forty deputies "slingers".

Is the neo-liberal oligarch (NLO) necessarily rich and opposed to the poor? Although the obvious answer seems to be "yes", the good one is still "no". Example: a footballer earning € 15 million income per year is not an NLO, a mayor of a middle-sized town with € 5000 / month can be one. The boss of a middle-sized company that ride Porsche Cayenne does not belong to when a public institution responsible for squandering money by taxi expenses or expenses in advisory fee strategy is a striking illustration.

Are there any in specific occupations where we find the NLO? Beyond the political rulers (and moreover) and captains of industry, there are many individuals with a dominant power that influence the progress of our societies. Even if the first reflex is to classify some journalists on the side of "collaborators", one must not forget the role of the media in their ability to "pass the neoliberal message" these past thirty years. Results are the raising of Pavlovian reactions in the population on certain subjects. So far the method was rather 'soft'. Today we went to the big guns and the crudest propaganda as systematically lump together Melenchon / National Front or writing that neo-Nazis are in Tsipras government. The big battalion remains the senior officials, whether in a department or in a European institution. Unelected people shaping economic policy on behalf of knowledge that is often alleged but undermined when we look through.

How to recognize a NLO? First, through vocabulary used. This is mainly used to disqualify the opponent. I'm well writing "discredit" because the NLO is not trying to argue (can we argue about edicts or beliefs?) to convince but seeks to disqualify the opponent instead of his arguments.  Some words and phrases are their favorite: populism, ideas of the past, not working hard enough, pay the right price (as opposed to financial solidarity) ... He must still distinguish the true NLO with valet plagued by "the stooge syndrom". This one is characterized by its propensity to feel sorry for his own oppressors. One of their lacuna is the lack of historical knowledge as if history contained the seeds of their downfall (and it is). Therefore, they seek at all costs to bring the discussion back to the present and to short term range.

In my last post, I was angry. Today I am flabbergasted. Stunned by ambient amorphousness. Certainly it is a new word but all amorphous synonyms does not have all of the characteristics of the word. Beyond the definition with the "a" without  and "morph" the form, there is more than "formlessness". There are many notions unknown as the "torpid" nature of the amorphous. Torpid comes from torpor (drowsiness) just as stupid comes from stupor. I see people who do not respond to the simplest sign that our society is in the hand of minority which take advantage of the lethargy of the population.
The mass was always amorphous, but what characterizes our time is that this stupor gain on classes that are supposed to have a minimum of reflection. What do I hear is "For me, economy is not understandable. I leave it to the economists "," I'm exhausted back from work, I won't complicate myself on these subject and rather relax watching TV. "

How can we not see that the time of the Inquisition is back. Neoliberal priests rule over Europe and want to impose their vision of society like the representatives of any religion. The example of Greece is striking but there are many "small" facts showing that, now, the aim is not the triumph of neoliberalism but to keep the power and silence dissent. For it is characteristic of any system that becomes imperial to abuse his power in order to maintain itself. So far, history has shown that it fails every time.
